Eyes are so important. When I got my makeup done for New Year’s Eve (perfect smoky eyes, expert liner, just enough false lashes), I couldn’t stop stealing glances in the mirror (seriously, Julie at Woo is a magician). But when I woke up the next morning with hungover, bloodshot, raccoon peepers, I wanted to punch myself in the face and cover every reflective surface in my apartment.

Which is why I’m totally addicted to Urban Decay’s Lush Lash mascara ($20). For the last decade, I have been on the search for the perfect mascara that gives length and volume and comes off without having to bust out the Goo Gone…and I have found it. You can read all about it HERE (along with the other top contenders), but know that it nails all the aforementioned criteria AND has growth serum in it so your lashes actually get longer with use (at least mine did).

I’ve also sworn by Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil ($19) for years. It goes on so smooth, doesn’t smudge (unless you want it to), doesn’t come off (until you want it to), and comes in any color you could want (Bourbon is my preference. Shocker.).

I’m giving away THREE sets of Lush Lash mascara + 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and it’s easy to enter. Head on over to the Witty + Pretty Facebook page and where you see the post about this giveaway, like it, then leave a comment on that post (it’s all happening on FB) stating your favorite song with “eye/eyes” in the title. Hello, like this jam?! The winner will be picked at random and the contest ends at 5 p.m. on Friday.

Until the next giveaway, so long! (And I’m talking about your lashes.)

  1. I have to agree that Urban Decay mascara is fantastic! I am a new convert. it performs perfectly for everyday natural lash look and my lashes seem stronger for using it. Thanks for the giveaway, and yes, I did enter on the FB page. Glad I found your blog with this!

  2. Researched your blog for your favorite things, including this mascara, and went on a make-up/skincare shopping spree. I’ve always been a drugstore makeup buyer, but hoping to see a difference with all the new products I bought!

Thanks for the advice and laughs!
